ABIKO LOCALE : CELEBRATING 6 YEARS OF GOD’S VICTORIOUS WORKS

Reaching 6 years of faithful service and dedication in the work of the Lord, Abiko Locale celebrated their Church Anniversary and Thanksgiving Service in Keyaki Plaza, Abiko City, Chiba Prefecture last August 4, 2019. The theme entitled, “Victoriously Celebrating 6 years of God’s Glorious Work” taken from 1 Corinthians 15:57 was manifested by the brethren throughout the service.

Master of Ceremonies and Song Leader, Sis. Shirley Terada, led the congregation in songs and praises. Ptr Lhara Fulo, Abiko Locale Minister, entrusted the victory of the event unto the Lord through the Opening Prayer. The Reading of the Holy Scriptures was led by Bro Angelo Reyes. Afterward, a heavenly ensemble of Songs of Praise was performed by the Cadets Department.

Ptr. Jeff Fulo, Abiko Local Head Pastor, established a friendly atmosphere as he welcomed the attendees with warm greetings. Selected adult brethren then rendered a special Dance Number. Later on, Ptr Jeff Fulo encouraged the attendees in giving faithfully as he delivered the Offertory Message. He stressed upon the topic, “Why we Give unto the Lord?” from Psalms 96:7.

The Abiko Choir prepared the hearts and minds of the brethren in accepting the Words of God through soulful Songs of Praise and Adoration that lifted the name of the Lord. Ptr Jeff Fulo, gave the Introductory Speech for the Keynote Speaker, Ptr Celso Rosas, Gunma Local Head Pastor. The empowering message of God delivered by Ptr Celso Rosas brought about an outpour of rejuvenation and restoration on the spirits of the attendees. He focused on the topic, “How did God make us victorious?.” God gave us the victory by helping us overcome our trials and our old selves, making us successful in our work of service and enabling us to keep the gift of salvation. He emphasized that because God made us victorious, it will lead us to offer Him our utmost Thanksgiving. This anniversary is another testament of the victory that God’s people have received and will continue to experience as they remain steadfast and unmovable in their service until the Lord’s return.

The celebration continued with an Intermission Number rendered by the Japanese Brethren, Bro. Hiroshi Fukushima and Bro. Takashi Iida followed by a Raffle Draw.

We thank God for every victory that He has given the Church. We look forward to His continuous provisions and we claim more breakthroughs for His glory. Praise the Lord!
