Celebrating 6 Years of God’s Goodness, brethren of the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ ( 4th Watch ) Gunma Japan Local Church, jubilantly held their Anniversary and Thanksgiving Worship last July 30,2017 at Gunma Kaikan, Maebashi Japan.
Filled with joy for God’s abiding mercies and goodness, the more than 150 participants commenced the service with a blithesome Praise and Worship and the meditation of God’s Word in Sunday School. The Lord made manifest his presence as each of the brethren’s sense of gratitude was further renewed and strengthened through Ptr Ruth Rosas’ emphasis on the biblical reasons to thank God for His goodness
The Grand Worship immediately followed and it began with a lively special Opening Number and exulting Praise and Worship led by the Gunma Praise and Worship Team. Songs of Praise from Joy Flock and Hope Flock were also lifted up unto the Lord.
Next was the Child Dedication led by Pastor Celso Rosas, Gunma Local Head Pastor. He reiterated the importance of bringing our children to the Lord, and the manifold promises God has for His children. Later on, he ministered the Offertory Message showing the Blessings in Biblical Giving and encouraged everyone in generous giving.
Highlighting the service was the Meditation of God’s Word by Pastor Maya Cruz, Japan District Coordinator and Guest Speaker. With the theme, “ Gratitude for 6 Years of God’s Goodness”, she explicitly expounded on the Manifestations of God’s Goodness. God moved powerfully through her exhortations which not only touched the hearts of the visitors, guests and brethren, but also renewed their faith and devotion to our Lord. During altar call, many visitors accepted the Lord’s call.
Concluding the event was a Mini Concert with Dinner at the 1st Floor Reception Hall of Gunma Kaikan. Together, the cadets, youths and adults glorified the Lord through their songs and dances. With everyone spiritually revived & strengthened , the event successfully ended with everyone praising and honoring God for His goodness. Praise the Lord !
