As the world faced unprecedented global health and economic crisis, the PMCC 4th Watch Japan District remained steadfast in its aim to deliver the Gospel to all people, most especially to the Japanese people.
After months of constant planning, prayer and fasting, collaboration and heaps of hard work, the PMCC 4th Watch Japan District Media Team through the supervision, guidance, and support of Presbyter Samuel Ferriol, the Church’s Global Media Coordinator and the Church’s REDEEM Department, successfully launched the pilot episode of Shinjitsu no Jikan.
Shinjitsu no Jikan is the Church’s flagship Evangelistic Platform Oras ng Katotohanan in the Japanese language. With its main objective of evangelizing more Japanese people, the Gospel preached by the Program Speaker, the Goodman of the House, our Beloved Apostle Arsenio T. Ferriol, was carefully translated and dubbed into the Japanese language. Each part was thoroughly designed to meet the needs of the Japanese viewers from the program layout, design, hosting, and even the songs. This remarkable event is an absolute illustration of God’s leading and providence in His Church in the End Time.
The launching and unveiling ceremonies were held in Tokyo Locale, last June 29, 2020. This event was graced by the presence of some members of the Japan District Committee and the Japan District Media Team, while the rest of the Locale Churches joined the ceremony through live online streaming.
The Japan District Coordinator and Tokyo Locale Head Minister, Presbyter Maya Cruz, delivered a very heartwarming and encouraging Inspirational Talk. In her brief message, she acknowledged the persistent hard work of the district’s media team. It was followed by the Introduction of the Program, conveyed by the Japan District Media Team In-Charge, Ptr. Ruth Rosas.
God’s mighty power and provision were undeniably evident in His Church. The airing of this pilot episode reached over fourteen thousand people with overwhelming compliments and positive comments from the Japanese viewers, brethren and unbelievers alike. Numerous viewers accepted Christ as their personal Savior and a Japanese viewer decided to be baptized shortly after the program.
