It was indeed a victorious celebration as the brethren of the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch) Osaka Locale joyously commemorated their 15th Church Anniversary and Thanksgiving Service. It was held at the Naniwa Kumin Center, Osaka Prefecture, Japan last August 12, 2018 inspired by the theme “Gratitude for Fifteen Years of God’s Goodness.”
This remarkable celebration started with a special Dance Presentation from selected Osaka brethren. It was then followed by a Video Presentation featuring “This Year’s Church Anniversary Preparation”. Sis Rochelle Tirazona together with the Osaka Praise and Worship team led by Sis Carol Kawano urged the congregation to fill the place with resounding praises and grateful adoration unto the Lord through choruses and hymns. Kawasaki Locale Minister, Ptr. Jenny Balawang, led the Opening Prayer and Bro Zaldy Granado, led the Reading of the Scriptures.
Thereafter, Osaka Locale Ministers, Ptr Phil Sison, and Ptr Susan Sison established an amiable atmosphere as they welcomed each attendee with their enthusiastic warm greetings.Bro Jeffrey Fulo, Abiko Locale Head Minister, then administered the Child Dedication and expounded that children are great blessings from the Lord.
Afterward, Gunma Locale Head Minister and Japan District Elders Department Co In-Charge, Ptr Celso Rosas, delivered the Offertory Message. He explicated the ministry of giving and how the early churches accomplished such noble ministry. He also reiterated that our service in giving proves how much we love the Lord and His mission.
Subsequently, the Word of God was powerfully ministered by Angono Rizal Head Minister and Macedonia Area Sub-Coordinator, Ptr Sammy Bagcat. He expounded that God’s goodness is unwavering and steadfast. He also encouraged each brethren to serve the Lord faithfully as recipients of God’s astounding goodness at all times.
During the Altar Call, hundreds of attendees were very much convinced of the mighty works and endless mercies of the Lord. Most of the 131 visitors were moved by the Holy Spirit, some even cried in full reverence as they accepted the Lord.
This jubilant celebration continued on through a Gospel Concert in the afternoon, where, Ptr. Sammy Bagcat sang his own compositions showcasing his God-given talent to magnify the name of the Lord.
Resulting in a tremendous victory for God’s glory, the success of this momentous celebration marked yet another milestone in the history of the Osaka Locale church. To God be the Glory!
