Saitama Locale’s Victorious 21st Anniversary

On July 12, 2020, the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ ( 4th Watch ) Saitama Locale celebrated their 21st Church Anniversary in Warabi City. This year’s theme was “Giving our Utmost Gratitude in all Circumstances” taken from 1 Thessalonians 5:18. Despite the struggles and difficulties the world is experiencing today, as God’s children,  we ought to offer Him the thanksgiving He deserves. This year’s celebration was indeed a manifestation of God’s provision. Evidenced by a handful of believers who attended the event, the Saitama Brethren has proven that true believers cannot be hindered in serving the Lord.

To kick off the celebration, the members of the Youth Department showcased an energetic Opening Dance number. Elder Apple Nabana was the Master of Ceremonies. The Saitama Praise and Worship Team led the congregation in singing joyful and soulful hymns and praises unto the Lord. The brethren were in tears as Elder Nancy Abe led the Opening Prayer. The Scripture Reading was then led by Elder Coring Sasaki. Back to back Songs of Praises were rendered unto the Lord by Bro. Minoru Hashimoto and the Saitama Cadets. Thereafter, a video testimony was shown inspiring the brethren to offer their most excellent thanksgiving to God.

Pastor Rowena Fuerte of Saitama Locale ministered the Offertory Message. She reminded that as  children of God,  we are heirs to His promises. Those who do evil will be condemned but those who love the Lord will be with Him in His kingdom. In our giving, we should be able to prove our love for God. Thereafter, selected brethren offered a Song of Adoration glorifying the name of the Lord. Greetings from the Goodman of the House, Apostle Arsenio T. Ferriol further lifted the spirits of the congregation.

Saitama Locale Head Minister, Ptr. Victor Fuerte was the keynote speaker of the event. He expounded on giving to God at all times for, without Him, we are nothing. God supplies all our needs and He deserves our utmost thanksgiving. He further emphasized that God is our way maker and He always delivers us from our troubles. The brethren then gave their Thanksgiving Offering.

The event was concluded with a Child Dedication and picture taking. Everyone went home with a renewed spirit and dedication in serving the Lord. To God Be the Glory!
