Another tremendous event marked the history of the End-time Church in the Land of the Rising Sun as the PMCC 4th Watch Shizuoka Locale celebrated their 12th Church Anniversary, Thanksgiving and Church Inauguration at Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture last August 4, 2019.
God’s victorious works continuously flourished as He granted the ardent prayers and steadfast devotion of the faithful brethren of Shizuoka Locale for a new House of Worship. Japan District Coordinator and Tokyo Locale Head Minister, Ptr. Maya Cruz, the Keynote Speaker of the special event, graced the Ribbon-Cutting and Inauguration Ceremony. Selected brethren from Shizuoka Locale gleefully danced to the tune of “Make His Praise Glorious” to greet the attendees as they delightfully entered the worship hall
. Cyndie Dela Cruz, the Master of Ceremonies, steered the spirits of the congregation with songs of praises to glorify the name of the Lord. Sis. Jasmin Okubo then prepared the hearts and minds of the brethren with a touching Opening Prayer followed by the Reading of the Holy Scriptures led by Bro. Junard Villanueva.
Ptr. Sheila Valencia, Head Minister of Shizuoka Locale, expressed her appreciation and gratitude for everyone’s presence to the momentous event. Thereafter, Ptr. Johnfer Valencia, Shizuoka Locale Minister shared the Message of Blessing. He expounded on “Right Attitude in Giving” taken from 2 Corinthians 9:7. He explained that we should give genuinely, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. Later on, Songs of Praises were lifted up unto the Lord by the Flock Leaders and Assistants, Youth Department, and the Shizuoka Choir, respectively.
Ptr. Maya Cruz, in her message, reminisced about God’s goodness to Shizuoka Locale through the years. From the humble beginnings of the Church up to the present – with a new and beautiful House of Worship – God has been true to His promise. He has abundantly supplied all our needs despite some adversities. She reminded the brethren not to forget all His goodness and use it as a fuel to thrive more and grow stronger in our faith. We ought to give our highest praises and service unto the Lord, for the victory is surely given to His people who serve wholeheartedly.
Meanwhile, another Song of Praise from selected members of Shizuoka Locale was rendered unto the Lord as the brethren gave their Thanksgiving Offering that was sealed with a Prayer of Dedication. Moved by the power of the Holy Spirit and the promises of salvation, several guests from different parts of Shizuoka Prefecture responded in the Altar Call and accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
